Youth Ministry Specialization Courses

The CYO/Youth and Young Adult Ministry Office is offering 4 online Youth Ministry Specialization Courses during the 2014-2015 academic year in collaboration with the Office of Religious Education of the Archdiocese of New Orleans. These online courses are designed to fit into your busy schedule and will serve the same purpose as the face to face courses offered in the past. The topics covered are beneficial to anyone involved in Catholic youth ministry leadership in both parish and school settings.

Each course lasts three weeks including two weeks of course learning and one week to complete the assignment. The courses utilize a combination of reading, watching presentations, webinars, interacting with others on the discussion board, web research, and practical application of youth ministry topics to your own parish or school ministry setting. The best part is that it can all be done on your own time and you can take the courses in any order.

You will earn credit towards a Youth Ministry Specialization Certificate for each course completed. If you have achieved basic catechist certification through the Archdiocesan Catechetical Certification Program (ACCP), these courses will also count as continuing education renewal hours.

Cost: $25.00 per course. Please make checks payable to:
